Different...neither really worse nor really better

First of all, its great to see again another Bitey movie and that you didnt want to "abandon" us (as we aint abandoning you), you make alot of people happy and make us dream even if only for some minutes, so... yeah, thanks.

2nd I just read Darkaxl's comment and he's kinda right yet kinda wrong. I agree that the music overpowered the narration at some points, sound is indeed sometimes more important than the animation and you might really have been kinda rushed (of course I dont know it but if I think how long you had for your other bitey's it IS a difference in time and that most times has a influence).I dont think though that the narration idea is necessarily a bad idea, it's just...different. Sure of course you could say "It's not the same anymore" or "It tells too much, gets the mysticism out of the tales" etc etc, yet don't we strive to know about everything in a story from a book? Don't we want to know the past, present and future, the how, why, when and what? how the story ends? (of course we want that the story never ends :P) As said its neither good or bad, it got its positive and negative sides. The originals or the changes? Do we want to stay in the dark, enigmatic unknown or step forward, discover, learn and understand why things are the way they are? So paradox...so I guess in the end it's everyone's individual oppinion.

I personally somewhat liked the narration, it leaves one in suspense, yet I wouldnt have minded at all if there wasnt any. I must say though, IF there's gotta be speeches then only narrations and NOT more. It would really be crap now if Bitey started speaking x)
I dont think Emma made it badly, sure could have been better, more...elvish and not so harsh, dry, but she still hit the needle pretty well on the head, I've heard narrations a thousand times worse (without exaggeration) also the choice of the words is pretty good aswell.

The animations are as always mesmerizing, beautiful and just fantastic.

Same goes to the music, if not even better, more....enchanting, emotionally/fantastically captivating.

Heck, this might be my longest review for anything in my life, so much about quietness. Yet again something as special as a Bitey movie deserves the upmost attention.

So in summary:

Animation: Awesome
Music: Wonderful
Animation-sound harmony: Pretty ok/good
Originality/Idea: You keep surprising us
Narration: coin-flip

More?: DEFINETIVELY! *.*

Great review Taranos, thanks for that. I particularly like the bit where you said:

"Do we want to stay in the dark, enigmatic unknown or step forward, discover, learn and understand why things are the way they are?"

The latter is my reason for making this one and my motivation for doing more. Thanks again.

Great stuff dude

It's very good and funny, specially the dialoge. I'm a big Chrono Trigger fan (have played it more times than your heart beats in 10 years...almost), and this is a very well made contribute to this great game. The bonus scene is superb (though the hint sucks, actually I still don't know where the hint is). For all you guys that are desesperately searching for the bonus scene, press Tabulator when Chrono and Lucca are waiting for Marle to come back from Space/Time paradox thingy. Keep up the good work my friend!

Cryokenetic responds:

I love hearing how much CT fans enjoy the series, 'cause it let's me know that I'm getting the humor right. So thanks for the review!

As for the hint...well, you don't think I actually wrote what Crono said on the note, did you? ^_-

w00t

I love those funny ironical humouristic movies. And that elevator sound (I love elevator sounds, they're so relaxing and funny) just sweeted it to the finish. People should stop complaining about stick figures, cause if the stick movies are good (like this one) it doesen't matter what they are of. Besides that, those people complaining about stick movies havent even made once in their live a stick movie, and dont know how much trouble it requires. Your're the man!

Nextrol responds:

Thanks! Finally.. somone who sees past the stick figures. :)

Listen dude...

so even if I didnt laughted, and not even smiled at this movie, I push myself to give you an explanation of what is wrong (as soon as I know it)...ok, so here we are. Not the size and lenght of the movie makes it unfunny (to me), but the way everything is dealt with. Ok, the penguin shoots the other one, but ain't that joke too old? You gotta use your fantasy my brother. Ever saw the movie "The Mask" from Jim Carrey? Remember where he gets that lots of guns out? You could have made the same, then people would think "hohohoooo, now he's in trouble". Or a killerwhale eating him up, or an UFO crashing on him, or 1000 red ants eating his whole body up, just something original. Buh...long chat ey? Let's go drink at the bar, I invite.

Nextrol responds:

Good ideas... thank you.

It's a bird, no, it's a plane, no, it's Neo flying

Well'a so here we are, eating pigeons and slapping frogs. This trailer looks quite cool, but the characters are a bit weird. I think I recognize Mr. Smith out there, but who's that ebony guy (or maybe girl?), and why are they all wearing kimotos (those japanese dress you know what I mean!)? Nonetheless it seems like it gonna hit the newgrounds and get a good bounty from it.

Kyle-Mistry responds:

my version of the matrix, so a lot of stuff is gonna b different

Quite good

I saw all the chapters. It's quite a good work you and your friends are doing. Keep up the good work. One thing you should do is to make a pause button or something for the text (like in chapter 1 and 2) or slow down the text, as sometimes it's a bit too fast (specially for people who barely understand english). The LF2 game is great, and it's cool someone does a movie about it. Btw do you intend to put Julian (or justin don't remember the name of the big guy) in the series? :P

MaxR responds:

okay, next time i'll put the text slower. And yes, my movies will include ALL the characters, you'll just have to wait to see what happends.

yay

I wasn't really in the mood of writing reviews, but this one's so cool (instead of saying beautifull) I had to review. A good thing is that it has a happy end, a bad end would surely have chaotic effects on the viewer, LOL! Anyways, if it had maybe voice and a little better graphics it would be even better, but nonetheless I'll give it a 5, you deserve it.

AligatorHead responds:

thank you

Meeeeheheeh

Poor horny pirates...I feel their pain...those seals are after all pretty attractive...huh? Sorry I was thinking loudly. It's a funny movie, liked the old seabear's face expresion, and the music rounded it all up :) Quality of the voice was a bit choppy but I'll show mercy XD

SketchMichaels responds:

;)

Takk!

Now listen what I got to tell you.

Alltought I don't gave you a good review, it doesen't mean you are shit...wait a second, you are. But this doesen't mean I want you to die and go to hell, you just need some practice. It needs better graphic, men must be smoother and for chocolated pink chicken's sake, MAKE DECENT Music, the one in there was just lame, I bet every psycho hears that music when he kills someone. But hey, the idea is good, it reminds me of "Battlefield". Make it better, and try to add humour, and you will rock :)

Ch40555 responds:

if i spent maybe twice the time and increased fps from 15 to 24 i could make it much smoother. But yeah i agree the music is lame, but for using an acoustic guitar only to make it wasnt bad. Actually Battlefield is what inspired.
